Lucentum Digital Productions to work on the Building Mutual Trust 2 EU project

We are proud to participate in this project, financed by the Directorate General Justice, Freedom and Security of the European Commission.

The Building Mutual Trust project is a framework project for implementing EU common standards in legal interpreting and translating, comprising 14 partners from Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Romania and the UK. The project aims to contribute to the creation of a common area of freedom, security and justice in the EU by:

  • establishing and disseminating benchmark criteria for standards of legal interpreting and translation for use in EU Member States
  • developing and disseminating training programme templates for training legal interpreters and translators (LITs)
  • creating an open access databank of training materials for use by LIT trainers and legal services personnel
  • developing and disseminating training programme templates for the training of trainers of LITs
  • establishing a trans-national mentoring network for trainers of LITs.
